Wolf Dynamics - Multiphysics simulations, optimization, and data analytics

Online training

At Wolf Dynamics, we know that attending a training session abroad can be  expensive and time-consuming. With this in mind, we have been working in developing online training courses which are the most cost effective solution for personal users, students, and SMEs.

The training is delivered live, and we use gotomeeting or webex online conferencing tools, which are free on the client side.

During the online training, we address the same topics as in the classroom training.

Online training can be scheduled at any time.

The course hours and timetable can be chosen in such a way that they do not interfere with your daily activities.

The number of participants is limited to no more than five students, and a course can be started with only one student.

Before starting the training, every participant will receive the training material in electronic format. If you are interested in getting the printed material, you will need to pay an additional fee for shipping and handling.

The training lasts seven hours and can be conducted in two or three non-consecutive days. For the two days option, each session last three and half hours. For the three days option, two sessions last two and a half hours and the final session lasts two hours.

If you do not have access to a workstation with all the applications installed, we can setup a remote computing node at an extra price.

Online training is not software specific.  If the training is related to commercial applications, it is the responsibility of the student to bring his/her own license. Depending on the software, and at an extra charge, we can provide a temporary license for the duration of the course.

Online training can be scheduled with any of the following applications: OpenFOAM®, Dakota, python, R-Studio, Paraview, Ansys Suite (meshing, fluent, CFX), onshape, spaceclaim.

If you are interested in OpenFOAM® online training, the following topics are offered:

Introduction to solid modeling for general CFD and meshing using OpenFOAM® technology - Onshape and snappyHexMesh

Advanced meshing using OpenFOAM® technology - snappyHexMesh and blockMesh

Turbulence modeling with OpenFOAM® - Theory and applications

Multi-phase flows modeling with OpenFOAM® - Theory and applications

Design of experiments, space exploration, and numerical optimization using Dakota and OpenFOAM®

Moving meshes, rigid body motion, adaptive mesh refinement, and overset meshes.

Advanced post-processing using Paraview.

The price of the online training (for open source software) is 350 euros for a single course (VAT not included). If you take three of more modules, a 20% discount is applied.

If you are interested in online training using commercial applications, please contact us.

Notice that online training is subject to instructors availability.
