Prerequisites: intermediate knowledge of CFD, OpenFOAM®, and Linux is required. Some basic knowledge of C++ and shell scripting is beneficial. For those following the optimization training, no prior knowledge of Dakota is required.

Time-zone: Central European Time (CET).

Course times:  to maximize users participation in different time-zones, the courses will start at 2:00 pm CET and will end at 5:30 pm CET. Each training session will be split into three non-consecutive days. Two days dedicated to lectures and guided tutorials (3:30 hours each), and one additional day devoted to Q&A (one hour session starting at 4:00 pm CET).

Language: English

Number of seats: minimum 2 seats - maximum 7 seats.

Training material:  every participant will have access to the lecture notes (in pdf format) and all the supporting material (tutorials and videos).

Teaching method:  lectures and hands-on sessions to validate the acquired knowledge.

The course is delivered live. However, all sessions will be recorded.

Attendees are required to have all applications installed.

To maximize the learning process, it is recommended to use two devices. One device to run all tutorials and the other device to follow the online meeting.

To ease the learning experience, all participants will get access to short pre-recorded lectures addressing key topics.

To deliver the training, we will use Zoom online conferencing applications, which is free on the client side.

For remote control, we will use anydesk, which is free on the client side.

A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.
